Welcome - I created Kaliruje from a desire to promote chemical free skin care products. In 2015 my husband underwent chemo and radiation for head and neck cancer. The radiation left his skin charred and so damaged. As I scrutinized the lotions, creams and butters on the shelf of the pharmacy, I was alarmed to discover the chemicals in these products. They included carcinogens ( known cancer causing agents), endocrine/hormone disruptors, irritants and allergens. I went to work doing research that took me over 1 1/2 years. I experimented on myself to find the best combinations and proportions of oils and butters for my skin, as well as my husband. In 2018 I decided to create my own product line. Thus, Kaliruje was born.

So who is the woman behind this? I am Elizabeth Pascual. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, master gardener, retired registered nurse, lover of travel.
